INFERENCES:

A constant meditation on or contemplation of the relationship between the individual and some form of authority: law enforcement, culture as a moral tombstone, or death itself.

To the point that life would seem to constitute in US culture a kind of siege laid to the individual and his impulses and needs within a structure of subjection-of total annihilation of the individual.

And the sense of being vitally and existentially trapped is only reinforced-insidiously intensified-by the only voice one hears in answer to one’s state of vital, personal frustration: purchase this (as opposed to that), save 100 bucks with me (not with them), or don’t you want what I have (as opposed to what you are)?

Good thing the music industry got rid of cultural production like this since 1990s!

A most unpleasant business, indeed!

But you still have Madonna, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, et al.

And an Apple Iphone or Tablet to keep you on the go.

Consider yourself fortunate, yes?

See you at Starbucks and may no child be left behind!

[diabolical chuckle]
